Cosmetics product photography: unbranded jars, dropper bottle and texture swatches on stone

Cosmetics are bought with the eyes first. Texture, glass, a drop of serum in the right light: this is photography at the scale of millimeters, where every fingerprint and bubble matters.

What I shoot

  • Flacons and jars with controlled reflections and clean edges.
  • Textures and swatches: creams, powders, lipstick smears, serum drops.
  • Ingredient stories: oils, botanicals, clays.
  • Complete launch sets, from the hero image to social crops.

How it works

  1. Products and guidelines. You send the products, the brand guidelines and the launch plan.
  2. Visual approach. I develop the look: backgrounds, props, light and the story of the range.
  3. Shoot. Sets and macro lighting built for texture, glass and color.
  4. Retouching and delivery. Retouched, color accurate files for e-commerce, social media, print and campaigns.

Skin-level accuracy in color is not negotiable in beauty: your cream must look identical on screen and in the jar.

Why with me

Beauty work combines the two disciplines I have practiced for decades: precision studio craft and marketing thinking. I shoot cosmetics as products to be desired, not just objects to be documented. E-commerce lines are covered under packshots; campaign concepts under advertising.

Questions clients ask

Will the colors match the real products?

That is the priority. Every file is color corrected so the product on screen matches the product in the hand.

Can you shoot both the campaign and the e-commerce listings?

Yes. Campaign visuals and clean listing images can be planned together, so the whole range looks coherent from the billboard to the product page.

What do you need to start?

The products, your brand guidelines and your launch dates. With those, I can propose a visual approach and an estimate.
